Nick Knowles' Big House Clearout fans sob as childminder’s cluttered home is given a life-changing makeover

NICK Knowles' Big House Clearout fans were left sobbing after a childminder’s cluttered home was given a life-changing makeover.

Thursday's edition of the Channel 5 show saw Nick, 58, and his team meet childminder Sally in the Cotswolds.

The single mum lives with daughter Hannah and son Josh, and also uses her home for her childminding business.

The team quickly discovered there were over 1,000 toys in the house, and that was just the tip of the iceberg, with their home being taken over by clutter.

However, Nick and the team once again worked their magic and transformed Sally's home into a haven for her and her family, as well as providing renewed spaces for her childminding.

Hannah burst into tears at the sight of their new living room and said: "These are definitely happy tears. There's been so many bad memories, this is just a fresh start."

Sally added: "I can see us as a family in here," while Josh told Nick: "I'm looking forward to actually being like a family, sitting and watching TV together. "

Sally continued: "This no longer feels like just a business place, now I've actually got a home."

Viewers were as overwhelmed by the change as she was, with one writing on Twitter: "As if the only bit that made her cry was the playroom for the children she childminds. not her new bedroom or kitchen etc, a playroom for her job. so wholesome."

Another added: "Crying along with the family on #bighouseclearout.#Decluttering is about more than just getting rid of stuff – it impacts your personal life, relationships & work life Well done team."

A third tweeted: "Aww I cried with Sally. A beautiful house, her children seem so happy."

Nick Knowles' Big House Clearout airs on Thursdays at 8pm on Channel 5.
