PREGNANT Brooke Vincent revealed she broke down in tears after son Mexx left her for his first day at nursery.
The smiling 15-month-old looked grown up standing in his puffy jacket and trainers, before leaving the house with his mum.
Coronation Street star Brooke was overwhelmed with emotion, writing on Instagram: "My little sidekick went to nursery today for his first tester day✨.
"He was so brave, he gave me and his daddy a kiss & waved us off goodbye & off he went.. just like that, me on the other hand,I got home and cried into my washing!!🧺😰💔 Tell me that’s normal!!"
She was reassured by her followers, who couldn't believe how fast her little boy was growing.
One commented: "Completely normal babe 🤣🤣 I can’t believe how quick its gone 😩💙 x."
Another said: "Arhh bless, well done Mexx 😍 xx."
Last month Brooke, who is in a relationship with footballer Kean Bryan, sparked speculation she's having twins as she showed off her growing baby bump.
The Sophie Webster actress posed in a baby pink gown with her hands cradling her stomach.
Brooke wrote alongside it: "Mummy of TWO loading .. & I couldn’t be more excited about it."
Fans were confused by this and one wrote: "Twins or two children total. You look great xx"
Another said: "Two as in twins?"
A third chimed in: "Two! Twins??"
Brooke has been focusing on motherhood since taking a break from the cobbles ahead of giving birth to Mexx.
She stepped away from the soap in August 2019 ahead of his birth.
The Sun Online revealed Brooke will be off screens for two years before she decides on her future.
And just days after the lad celebrated his first birthday, she revealed she’s pregnant again, with the new arrival expected in the spring.
The actress will not return to Corrie before she gives birth and will require several months at home with her new arrival before making up her mind on her Corrie future.
A source added: “The door is open for Brooke to return whenever she wishes but that won’t be before the birth and so the executives are realistically looking at next summer before she’s in a place to start talking about her Corrie job.
“That will mean she’s been away from the soap for two years.”
A spokesman for Corrie confirmed: “There was never a fixed return date for Brooke, and there is no pressure for her to return within any particular time frame.
“The door has been left open for her at any point in the future, whenever that might be.”
