Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt has confirmed that she has signed up to the next series of Dancing On Ice.
The singer, 39, is the 11th famous face to sign up to the 2022 series of the hit ITV skating show.
Speaking to her bandmate Ashley Roberts on Heart Radio, Kimberly said: “I have signed up for Dancing on Ice! I’m nervous, that ice is going to hit hard. I’m just excited to see what I can do on there. I’m up for a challenge!"
Dancer Kimberly, who was a judge on Got to Dance from 2009-2014 and is now part of the panel on Taking the Next Steps, joins a host of fellow famous faces set to take to the ice in January.
Celebs confirmed so far include Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor, Happy Mondays dancer Bez, Paralympian Stef Reid, Love Island ’s Liberty Poole, rugby star Ben Foden, Paul Gascoigne’s son, Regan Gascoigne, S Club 7’s Rachel Stevens, professional dancer Brendan Cole, presenter Ria Hebden and BMX Olympic silver medalist Kye Whyte.
Fellow Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton took part in the skating competition back in 2019, but was eliminated the week before the semi-final.
A show insider said of Kimberly’s signing: “Kimberly is an amazing dancer and blows all of the other stars out of the water when it comes to her musicality and ability.
“But on the ice Kimberly is a little green and will need to work hard if she wants to go all the way.
“Kimberly talked to Melody about the possibility of signing up when she was approached and she told her to go for it.
“Melody had a great time on the show and gave Kimberly all her tips and advice.”
Kimberly’s DOI signing comes after she confessed that Strictly Come Dancing snubbed her due to her extensive dance experience.
She said: “From any chats that I've had, Strictly feel that I’m too professional to be a contestant.”

Kimberly is due to go back on tour with the Pussycat Dolls next year, but a row between Nicole Scherzinger and the band’s creator Robin Antin has reportedly halted their plans.
Robin is suing lead singer Nicole Scherzinger over claims she wanted "complete creative control" on the reunion tour.
It’s thought Nicole is refusing to take part in the tour due to the disagreement.
Speaking to Sky News, Kimberly recently said of the drama: “I hate that this situation is happening, but I'm just going to stay optimistic.
"I'm in a tricky situation… this stuff has nothing to do with me.”
