RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner joins Hollyoaks for special Juliet and Peri episode

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard is set to join Hollyoaks for a number of special episodes.

The episodes in question will centre on Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) and Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell), as they journey to Brighton for a special trip to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Filmed on-location in Brighton, Juliet, who has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, enjoys some time away with one true love Peri amid her treatment.

Before they can sashay away off home, however, the couple are horrified to discover that all of their belongings having vanished!

It appears that all hope is lost – that is, until their fairy drag mother, reigning Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, comes to the rescue, offering the girls a lift back to Chester.


The unmissable episodes are riddled with laugh-out-loud moments and heartbreaking scenes, with their journey back home to the eponymous village proving to be one to watch, as Danny Beard offers Juliet and Peri some words of wisdom.

The grand finale features a brand new song, with a bespoke performance from Danny Beard on The Love Boat.

‘It’s been really fun, and all the crew here are so lovely and happy,’ said Danny on the set of the Channel 4 soap. ‘I can’t wait to share it with you all.

‘It’s ridiculous, in the best Hollyoaks way possible.’ has obtained an exclusive picture, of Danny with their drag wagon on the show, which you can see below.

Niamh Blackshaw and Ruby O’Donnell are at the centre of all the drama, with Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay), Anna Passey (Sienna Blake), James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) and Owen Warner (Romeo) all taking part too.

Danny from Manchester was crowned the next Drag Race Superstar in the Drag Race finale last year, which has previously been won by the likes of The Vivienne and Lawrence Chaney.

They beat out other drag queens Jonbers Blonde, Cheddar Gorgeous, and Black Peppa in the finale, which saw the foursome given one last final challenge.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 7pm on E4, with first look episodes streaming first on All4.
