Spoilers: Corrie's Geoff seethes with rage as Tim goes to court to save Yasmeen

Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) was left in shock in Coronation Street tonight (November 23), as Tim (Joe Duttine) revealed his intention to be a witness in the trial in order to help save Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King).

Tim initially refused to believe that Geoff was the abuser Yasmeen claimed him to be.

However, he ultimately came to realise that his dad wasn’t the man he thought he was when he saw a video of him being incredibly cruel to Yasmeen.

The young man subsequently disowned his dad, and has done everything in his power to track down Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox), all the while helping Alya (Sair Khan) with the trial.

In tonight’s episode, Tim paid a visit to see Yasmeen in prison.

He was incredibly apologetic for not having believed her, but Yasmeen informed him he had nothing to be sorry for, as it was perfectly understandable that he didn’t believe his dad was capable of such abuse.

However, Tim was ultimately left with a lot to think about, and therefore he resolved to help Yasmeen by being a witness for the defence.

He later took great pleasure in telling Geoff such a thing, who was seething at the thought of his son going against him in court.

Will Geoff manage to reclaim the upper hand once more?

Or will justice finally be served?

Coronation Street continues Wednesday November 25 at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
