STEPHANIE Davis has said that she is in the "worst pain ever" while battling coronavirus in hospital.
The 28-year-old star was rushed to hospital after testing positive for the potentially life-threatening virus, which she has not yet been vaccinated against.
She suffered from severe chest pains, low oxygen levels, and her skin was painful to touch.
Stephanie updated fans from her hospital bed via Instagram yesterday, thanking them for their well-wishes as she admitted she's felt "too s**t to reply".
She went on: "I've not been well at all, I've just had some morphine and that's really helped with the pain.
"I don't know what's been going on but I've been getting severe pains in my oesophagus and in my chest and, it's not indigestion because I've not ate anything.
"Even when I have a sip of water the pain is unreal, I don't know what's going on. I'm feeling very spaced out on the morphine so I'm going to go back to sleep. It's been horrific.
"I've had some fluids as I'm dehydrated – I'll keep you all posted."
The ex Hollyoaks actress also posted a photo of herself laying with her eyes closed in hospital, sharing: "After the worst pain I've ever been in, I'm getting there now. Love to you all."
The mum-of-one was hospitalised last week, where she told her following: "Last night I had a bit of a headache before bed and my sinuses – and I woke up so ill and had to call an ambulance basically."
Explaining that she had "tested positive for Covid", Stephanie went on: "I feel really ill, like I've been run over. I can't touch my skin as it's killing me.
"I'm just in so much pain – oh my god, this is horrible. It happened so quick, I don't know, I just woke up and couldn't move."
Stephanie suffers from asthma, and has a history of anaphylaxis due to allergies, which has been reported complicates whether or not she can have the vaccine.
