    Strictly curse

It’s not just the romance curse you’ve got to be worried about on Strictly, but there’s the Strictly bug too.

Rose is not the first person to have fallen sick on the show.

Ex contestant Judi Love was forced to pull out for a week after testing positive for Covid 19.

Just last month Robert Webb quit the competition – just days before the fourth live episode.

The 49-year-old explained it was due to his ill health following major heart surgery.

Eliminated star Ugo Monye also took a week out due to ongoing injuries after an emergency operation on his back.

Dan Walker favourite for Strictly boot

DAN WALKER IS THE NEW FAVOURITE with Ladbrokes for the Strictly boot this weekend.

After scoring 29 on Saturday night, the bookies make the TV presenter 5/4 favourite to be sent packing, meaning he’s leapfrogged former favourite, Sara Davies (now 6/4), with Tilly Ramsay a 5/2 shot.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Dan Walker may have received his highest score of the series but it doesn’t look as though it’ll be enough to save him from the Strictly chop this weekend.”

He added: “Meanwhile, AJ’s poor performance on Saturday night has only strengthened Rose’s position at the head of the betting, and the EastEnders star is now shorter than ever for this year’s Glitterball Trophy.”

Bookies say 3 dancers are at risk

Dan, Sara and Tilly are in a tight battle at the bookies to face the next elimination from Strictly Come Dancing.

The BBC Breakfast host edges the betting at odds of 2/1, with Sara and Tilly close behind at 9/4 apiece.

Rhys is rated as a 6/1 chance to leave next, while it would be a surprise at 20/1 if Tom was to exit the show this weekend.

Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “As we get to the business end of the competition it’s proving difficult to pick which celebrity will be eliminated. Dan is the worthy favourite to leave next given his poor scoring still, but with a loyal BBC fanbase voting to save him it could well be Tilly or Sara that’s axed.
