According to star Dierdre Lovejoy who played Cynthia Panabaker, she could be making a huge comeback on the NBC series after posting a cryptic post on Instagram.
The actress took to Instagram to post a series of behind the scene images from the set of Blacklist, including one of a call sheet.
In the caption, Cynthis wrote: “All signs pointing to season nine!! (but which way to the set?)
This caused a frenzy in her comment section, with viewers excited about her potential return to screens.
One user, goodshoulder shared their exhilaration and wrote: “So glad you’re back!”
Court agreed and posted: “Queen of the one liners is back!!! I can’t wait.”
“All roads lead to The Black List, I can’t wait to see you back in season 9!” said Lizzy.
Viewers were first introduced to Cynthia in season three as she arrived at the post office with a US marshall to transport Liz Keen (Megan Boone) to a federal courthouse.

With The Blacklist returning to screens, the network has revealed there will be a two-year time jump.
Fans will recall the jaw-dropping season finale that saw Liz suffer from a fatal gunshot wound and instead of exploring it right away, season nine will begin two years after the event.
With Liz no longer in the picture, the FBI task force went their separate ways and the location of the show’s new lead character, Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington, is unknown.
The disbanding of the task force was something Cynthia had threatened after making direct demands to Liz and Red.
She had also stated the Department of Justice directive was to issue a burn notice on Liz Keen.
Cynthia told the team: “As soon as Keen’s handled, the DOJ will disavow all knowledge of the Task Force, kick Reddington free.”
She went on to say, if it all worked out, the task force would be as though it “never existed.”
Now that she’s set to be coming back for season nine, viewers were wondering if she had some unfinished business with Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix).
Others wondered if her return could suggest the task force wanted to get back together and need her approval.
Season eight saw Liz on the run for most of the episodes, while the team worked tirelessly to find and capture her in an effort to stop all black listers.
Some fans are convinced Cynthia could be a mole, suggesting she could be a Russian agent raised to become a spy.
Fans will have to tune into season nine of The Blacklist to see the real reason behind Cynthia’s comeback.
The Blacklist returns on October 21 on NBC in the US. The show airs on Sky Max in the UK.
