Flamingo makes their debut in the second episode of The Masked Dancer, the sister show to ITV’s hit programme, The Masked Singer. With one contestant having been eliminated during the first episode, the feathery character only has to defeat 10 opponents to take the crown. The viewers at home and the judging panel have no idea whether the performer is a professional or an amateur but it might be a former Dancing on Ice star is hiding inside the costume.
Prior to their performance, there were no clues given about Flamingo other than the caption which was stapled with the promotional image.
The short description reads: “This beautiful tropical bird migrates to the dance studio during the Spring, it’s Flamingo #MaskedDancerUK.”
Although the colourful character is yet to perform, fans have already been theorising on Twitter the celebrity showcasing their skills could be Louie Spence, 52.
One fan wrote on the social media platform: “Safe bet to say Louie Spence is one of the #MaskedDancerUK Flamingo is most likely.”
Known for being a dancer on the West End stage, as well as being a judge on Dancing on Ice, the famous face has the credentials to go far in the competition.
Louie only had a short stint on Dancing on Ice as a judge when he replaced Jason Gardiner, 49, on the panel back in 2012.
Nevertheless, he still made a lasting impact on the show and gained his place on the panel due to his long-standing career as a dancer.
The famous face is also best known for featuring in his own documentary-soap series entitled Pineapple Dance Studios.
With such a backlog of experience in the world of dance, could he be the celebrity hiding inside the Flamingo costume?

Whoever is inside the colourful costume will go up against Rubber Chicken in the second episode of the series, performing to the track Lady Marmalade by Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil Kim, Mya and Missy Elliott.
One more contestant will be eliminated from the competition and they will join Viper, who was unmasked as Diversity’s Jordan Banjo, 28, in going home.
The other character still dancing their way through the world’s craziest game of Guess Who? includes Beetroot, Llama and Knickerbocker Glory.
Completing the line-up are Scarecrow, Zip, Beagle, Frog, Carwash and Squirrel as they all fight to keep their identities a secret.
Returning judges Davina McCall, 53, Jonathan Ross, 60, and Mo Gilligan, 33, have been joined on the panel by Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse, 30.
With a wealth of knowledge on the subject of dance, the reigning champion of the BBC dance show will be the one to beat amongst the judges as to who correctly identifies the most celebrities.
However, the foursome will be joined by some guest panellists later on in the series as Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams, 49, has been drafted in to help the detectives.
“I had a blast being a guest judge on the show. It is so silly and fun that you can’t help but have the best time,” he said.
“Joel [Dommett] and the other judges made me feel so welcome. It is much harder than judging Britain’s Got Talent, though. This is more like having to be a detective,” David added.
This Morning host Holly Willoughby, 40, will also be putting herself to the test by becoming a panellist on the show.
“How the Masked Dancers are able to pull off the moves they’re doing in these costumes is mind-blowing,” the mother-of-three explained.
“I absolutely loved joining the panel as a special guest and getting to play detective. You’re all in for a real treat.”
The Masked Dancer continues weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV.
