The Travelling Auctioneers will see Bargain Hunt’s Christina Trevanion and The Repair Shop’s Will Kirk work together to give their old items a touch-up and sell them at auction, in a bid to try and make a profit. As part of the show, the experts have to travel around the country in their little blue van, bringing the workshop and auction house to them. Here’s everything there is to know about where the BBC series was filmed.

Where was Travelling Auctioneers filmed?

The Travelling Auctioneers has a brand new format which combines the many skills of BBC stars Will Kirk and Christina Trevanion.

The pair travel around the country to raid residents’ precious belongings to try and find some hidden treasures.

It is then up to restoration expert Will to give it a new lease of life before Christina takes it to auction.

The stars and the families are then waiting with fingers crossed, hoping they’ll be able to make a profit with the items.

Will and Christina didn’t just stay in one area to find these goods either.

They drove around the country in order to get a wide range of quality antiques in need of some TLC.

Talking to, host Christina revealed just some of the places they visited for the first season.

She said: “We went to the most beautiful house in Sussex and I’m an absolute sucker for the sea.

“We literally went the length and breadth, we went to Sussex, Northumberland, we came over to Shropshire.”

“It felt like we went all over the place and then went down to Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds, and Wiltshire and then over to Berkshire.

“I mean everywhere, we covered miles.”

There were some places in the UK, however, that the pair didn’t get to visit this time around.

Christina added: “There is not a corner of this fair isle we haven’t unearthed, apart from Scotland.

“I would like to do a bit more in Scotland and deepest darkest Wales because that’s just beautiful.”

The first place on The Travelling Auctioneers’ checklist is Shropshire which will feature in episode one.

Sadly, there is a tragic story behind the family who wish to take part in the daytime show.

The description reads: “After a decade of grief following the tragic death of their teenage son Matthew in 2012, Sue and

Chris have finally decided it’s time to move on.

“They’re swapping their rural surroundings for something sunnier down south.

“Christina and Will discover some amazing items, including a collection of pieces by the famed carpenter Robert

‘Mouseman’ Thompson, and they breathe life back into some neglected furniture.”

The Travelling Auctioneers continues weekdays at 4.30pm on BBC One.
